To ensure minimal water leakage, it is recommended to position the interior panel close to the shower head. Accurate measurements and finished wall material are essential before measuring for the sliding shower doors, as the header and rail will need to be cut to size during installation. Necessary tools for installation include a tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill with 7/64 inch, 1/8 inch, and ¼ inch bits, #2 Philips screwdriver, 3/16 inch wrench, sharp knife, and clear silicone caulk. Optional tools such as a miter box, files, center punch, and masking tape can also be useful.
