The DreamLine SlimLine single threshold shower base can be used in a custom shower project or paired with DreamLine Shower Doors for a seamless shower installation or tub-to-shower conversion. These contemporary shower bases are designed with a low profile for a clean, polished look. They provide a convenient and cost-effective alternative to custom tile installations, with easy installation and exceptional value.
Constructed from high gloss Acrylic/ABS materials that are reinforced with fiberglass, these shower bases are both attractive and durable. Each base includes a slip-resistant textured floor pattern, integrated tile flanges on three sides, and a pre-installed opening for a standard compression fitting drain. DreamLine offers a range of cUPC certified low profile shower bases, ensuring they meet all American and Canadian codes and standards.
Please note that the DreamLine SlimLine Shower Base dimensions are for rough opening measurements against the studs, while the DreamLine Shower Door dimensions are for finished opening measurements on tiled walls. Keep in mind that the Shower Bases are slightly larger (approximately 2 inches) than the corresponding Shower Doors. This model comes in a size of 36 inches deep by 36 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches high, with a single threshold for a three-wall alcove installation and a center drain location. Installation is direct to studs on unfinished walls. The SlipGrip floor surface provides slip resistance for safety, while the premium high gloss acrylic ensures easy maintenance and lasting beauty.
